About The Role
Are you a dynamic and versatile Sales Account Manager with the proven ability to nurture strong relationships and influence positive outcomes?
As a Sales Account Manager, you will be the face of Hilti, the very foundation of our business and direct sales model, and part of our community of 350+ Account Managers in Great Britain alone. This field-based role is all about having meaningful interactions with customers and taking a consultative approach to support them in improving productivity, safety, and sustainability.
The Government team collaborates closely with publicly funded establishments, including social housing, local authorities, universities, hospitals, and more. We develop solutions that may incorporate any of our equipment or materials. These projects and contracts demand time investment, nurturing, and patience, along with strong accountability and relationship-building skills.
Territory coverage: South Wales & Bristol
What You'll Do
- You will be out and about in your designated region meeting your customers, to understand their needs, before providing them with tailor-made solutions.
- As well as demonstrating our innovative products and state-of-the-art software to your customers, you will also develop ‘focus’ customers by building relationships and uncovering new business leads.
- You will be responsible for the operational, organisational, and strategic account management of your sales area, fully utilising the best-in-class Salesforce CRM system.

What You’ll Bring
- Proven B2B sales experience where you provide a solution/value sales approach.
- Knowledge of construction, tooling, or similar with an understanding of tool applications, and able to use this knowledge to create effective solutions.
- Knowledge of public funding processes or similar, including internal processes – Desirable
- We are also keen to speak to applicants from an Engineering, Construction, or Technical background, looking to utilise their knowledge in an exciting new direction.
- Solution-oriented approach, with the ability to uncover customer pain points and needs to provide our best-suited solutions.
- You share our values – commitment, teamwork, courage, and integrity.
- Resilience and adaptability – you will be comfortable meeting all levels of customers from a Site Operator to Managing Director.
- Drive, curiosity, and a motivated approach to achieve success and overcome challenges, with a passion to learn, develop, and grow.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously to effectively manage your time and priorities.
- Have a full, manual UK driving license and willingness to travel, as you will make site visits to engage with customers Monday to Friday.
