The Vacancy

We have exciting opportunities for Specialist Skills Trainer to join our Operations team in Pilgrim's Europe - at Ballymena site.

Shift: Mon - Fri, 6am - 2:30pm

Contract: Permanent

The Role

Reporting to the Site Training Lead, you will co-ordinate, track and deliver all job specific and key skills training required for an assigned area or shift. Duties will include an introduction to the department when a colleague joins or transfers into a new role, ensuring completion of and competency against job specific SOPs, refresher training and updates and ad hoc training as required.

  • Previous experience in a training, coaching, or supervisory role within a food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organisational and record-keeping abilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety and health & safety requirements.
  • Ability to motivate and develop others.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and training administration.
