Exciting Opportunity: Band 7 Specialist Tissue Viability Nurse
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Specialist Tissue Viability Nurse within the WWL Tissue Viability Service.
We are looking for a highly skilled, innovative, dynamic, and motivated nurse with clinical and leadership skills in Tissue Viability to join the Team.
Key Requirements
- Enthusiasm and Innovation: Enthusiastic individual to work in a progressive area who will enjoy involvement in change management.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Leading and working with the existing tissue viability team to transform the current service provision.
- Experience: Ideally, experience working within a Tissue Viability Service.
- Skills:
- Close collaboration with TVNs, clinical leads, acute, and community teams.
- Reducing pressure ulcer incidents and improving quality in wound management across WWL.
- Flexibility, excellent communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to develop, deliver, and evaluate quality improvement projects within the service.
- Travel: Ability to travel between both community and acute sites is essential.
- Audit and Education: Involvement in tissue viability audit and education and facilitating the implementation of best practice.
- Clinical Skills: Experience working collaboratively across acute and community settings within a tissue viability role or similar, with sound knowledge and clinical skills in all areas of wound management.
