Specialist Transformation Lead – Repairs

Location: Ealing / Hybrid (limited office attendance required – exp 1-2 days per month)

Salary: £69,922-£75,000 (dependent on experience)

Contract type: Permanent – Full Time (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday)

DBS Level – Basic

Are you an experienced transformation professional with a track record of improving repairs and maintenance services? Do you enjoy leading large-scale change programmes, driving operational improvements and working with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver measurable results? If so, this could be the opportunity for you.

We're looking for a Specialist Transformation Lead – Repairs to join our Transformation & Innovation team. In this role, you'll lead complex transformation programmes and service improvement initiatives across our repairs services, helping to improve operational performance, customer satisfaction, compliance and value for money.

Working closely with Repairs, Assets, Customer Services, Digital Innovation, IT, Data & Business Intelligence and Service Improvement teams, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering change that modernises repairs services and strengthens outcomes for both customers and the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of repairs transformation programmes and projects aligned to organisational priorities, regulatory improvement plans and customer needs
  • Manage programme governance, delivery plans, budgets, risks, dependencies, reporting and benefits realisation activities
  • Work collaboratively with operational, technology and transformation teams to design and implement sustainable service improvements
  • Drive improvements in repairs performance, customer satisfaction, compliance, operational efficiency and contractor management outcomes
  • Support the development of business cases, investment proposals and transformation roadmaps
  • Lead stakeholder engagement, communications, business readiness and adoption activities to support successful programme delivery
  • Support business continuity planning and organisational resilience arrangements
  • Ensure programme data, risks, issues, milestones and benefits are accurately maintained and reported
  • Work with Data Governance and Business Intelligence teams to maintain reporting quality and governance compliance
  • Promote a safe working environment and ensure adherence to health and safety requirements

More About You

  • Knowledge of social housing compliance requirements and repairs operations (Essential)
  • Degree qualified, or equivalent experience, in a relevant discipline
  • Programme or Project Management qualification
  • Significant experience delivering repairs and maintenance transformation initiatives
  • Proven track record of leading complex change programmes and service improvement projects
  • Strong understanding of programme governance, planning, reporting and benefits realisation
  • Experience improving operational performance and customer outcomes within a repairs environment
