Job Description
Treasury technology, process improvement and effective governance are key enablers of Treasury’s objectives, helping to improve efficiency, resilience and business insight. The Treasury Consultant will support these objectives by providing specialist treasury expertise, project delivery capability and practical experience across Treasury Management Systems, treasury accounting, controls and reporting.

Safety, Health & Environment

  • Demonstrate behaviour in line with health, safety and environmental standards and with the Group's values.
  • Participate in relevant safety initiatives and address matters appropriately as part of demonstrating safety leadership.

Performance & Delivery – Treasury Systems & Technical Expertise

  • Act as a key subject matter expert for Treasury Management Systems with knowledge of a range of treasury technology products including FIS Quantum.
  • Provide specialist guidance on Treasury Management System capabilities, configuration, controls, accounting set-up, data management and reporting in line with leading practices.
  • Support the effective management of Treasury Management Systems and associated applications.
  • Provide specialist expertise across the end-to-end Treasury workflow, from Treasury Front Office exposure identification and deal execution through to Treasury Operations and accounting, including reporting.
  • Work closely with Treasury colleagues and other internal stakeholders as well as external providers to ensure Treasury technology solutions continue to meet business requirements.
  • Support knowledge transfer and the embedding of sustainable treasury process and technology capability across the function.

Performance & Delivery – Treasury Project Delivery

  • Lead and support Treasury projects and transformation initiatives.
  • Manage project plans, governance materials, risks, dependencies, actions and stakeholder communications.
  • Coordinate activities across Treasury, Finance, Technology teams, vendors and implementation partners.
  • Support business requirements gathering, solution design, testing, training, implementation and post-implementation review activities.
  • Ensure project delivery is aligned to agreed objectives, governance requirements and operational control standards.
  • Support Treasury transformation initiatives leveraging technology to improve efficiency, governance and operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure project outcomes are embedded through clear documentation, user training, knowledge transfer and effective handover to Treasury teams.

Sustainability & Social

  • Support Group Treasury initiatives aligned with the Group Finance agenda and wider business priorities.

People & Teams

  • Identify and agree own training and development requirements.
  • Demonstrate behaviour in line with the Group's values, standards and a professional workplace.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with Treasury, Finance, Technology and external stakeholders.
  • Share expertise with colleagues and contribute to a constructive and productive working environment.

Compliance

  • Ensure Treasury processes remain aligned with Group Treasury Policy and relevant governance requirements.
  • Support the design, operation and enhancement of Treasury controls, including ICFR and related control frameworks where applicable.
  • Support internal and external audit activities through provision of appropriate documentation and evidence.
  • Promote appropriate segregation of duties, access governance, audit trail quality and control evidence across Treasury processes and technology-enabled activities.

Qualifications

  • Significant Corporate Treasury experience within a large multinational organisation.
  • Demonstrable experience implementing, enhancing or managing Treasury Management Systems.
  • Strong hands-on experience with FIS Quantum and/or other Treasury Management Systems such as FIS Integrity, Kyriba, Reval, IT2 or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting Treasury Management Systems in a live corporate environment, including configuration, controls, reporting, workflows and process design.
  • Proven project management experience delivering Treasury transformation or technology-enabled initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of treasury operations, cash and liquidity management, financial risk management, treasury controls and reporting.
  • Strong treasury accounting knowledge and knowledge of TMS configuration.
  • Experience working with software vendors, implementation partners and cross-functional business teams.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
