About The Role
About the role:
Are you passionate about empowering students to reach their full academic potential? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialist Study Skills Tutor to provide tailored one-to-one teaching and support for students with Specific Learning Differences (SpLDs), Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASCs), and medical disabilities.
To ensure DSA compliance, we would especially welcome applications from colleagues who hold SpLD qualifications and are eligible for professional membership of the following organisations: PATOSS, BDA, ADSHE, DG.
In this vital role, you will help learners develop practical strategies to overcome barriers to learning, enhancing skills in memory, organisation, communication, and self-management. You will design individual learning programmes, deliver targeted support that promotes independence, and collaborate with academic and support colleagues to foster an inclusive and accessible learning environment.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students’ educational and professional journeys while contributing to the continued excellence of our Additional Learning Support service.
