St Gregory CEVC Primary School is looking for a Specialist Unit Learning Support Assistant.
St Gregory is a friendly, outwards-looking single form entry primary school in Sudbury, with a Nursery and a Specialist Education Unit. We are a Local Authority maintained school and part of the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich. This is an exciting opportunity to join the wonderful team in our Specialist Unit.
Our Specialist Unit staff are a fun, nurturing, professional team who support all primary aged pupils who have Moderate Learning Difficulties and Complex Additional Needs. All pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan and the majority of the pupils are working on the Pre-Key Stage Standards.
We are looking for candidates who:
- can support a holistic approach to social and emotional development as well as academic learning
- value the whole child and all their successes, empowering them to be the best that they can be
- have experience of (or a passion for) supporting SEND children
- are compassionate, inclusive and treat everyone with respect.
