About us
At the Young Women’s Project, our message is simple: You Matter. Since 1992, we have worked alongside young women to build confidence, self-worth and opportunity in a safe and nurturing environment.
We are a women-led organisation supporting young women aged 11–19 years, including young mothers. Our work is rooted in youth work and feminist values. We listen without judgement, respect young women’s choices and adapt support to their needs, including neurodivergence and the effects of trauma.
Your role
You will build trusting relationships and work alongside young women to agree goals, overcome barriers and access support. You will help create a welcoming space where they can develop confidence, connections and practical skills at their own pace.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
