Job Opportunity: Specialty Doctor/Equivalent Level Practitioner
We are looking to appoint a specialty doctor or equivalent level practitioner to join our community paediatric team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital. We provide high-quality patient-centred care, maintain excellent team working, resilience, and have developed effective, close working relationships with other colleagues across the Network.
Role Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be providing 2 community clinics each week with additional administration time. They will be supported by consultant colleagues within the department and share an office with a community Speciality doctor and consultant Paediatrician. The consultant body will provide support for continuing professional development and GMC revalidation requirement.
- Assessment and management of children with developmental delay, possible ADHD and ASD.
- Assessment and management or signposting of children presenting with common community paediatric conditions like constipation, Tics, increased BMI.
- To coordinate care for children with neuro-disability, liaising with various members of the multidisciplinary team.
