Mental Health Liaison Team – Green Parks House (PRUH)
Fixed term: 12 months | Full time | Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
We have an exciting opportunity for a SAS doctor to join our well-established, supportive Mental Health Liaison Team (MHLT) based at Green Parks House, delivering an all-age liaison psychiatry service to the Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH).
This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term post, offering an excellent opportunity to work within a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality mental health care within a busy acute hospital environment.
Role Responsibilities
The Post Holder Will Work Closely With Consultant Psychiatrists, Junior Doctors, and The Wider Multi-disciplinary Team To Provide Timely Psychiatric Assessment And Intervention For Patients Presenting With Mental Health Needs Within:
- The Emergency Department
- Acute medical inpatient wards

You will play a key role in supporting safe, effective clinical decision-making at the acute–mental health interface, ensuring patients receive the right care in the right setting.
