Job Opportunity for Specialty Doctor in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
A valuable opportunity is available for an experienced Specialty Doctor in Obstetrics & Gynaecology to join a supportive and well-established team. This is a permanent post, based at Glangwili General Hospital, in Carmarthen and travel to other sites for clinical duties is expected.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervision of all admissions to the Wards, Clinical investigation, diagnosis and treatment of all patients admitted to Obstetrics & Gynaecology Wards as well as assisting the Consultants in running the Outpatient Clinics.
- Participation in regular audit meetings and postgraduate teaching sessions held by the appropriate Consultants.
- Working in close cooperation and liaison with colleagues both within and outside of the organisation, as appropriate, in multi professional and multidisciplinary team environments.
- Maintaining a high standard of note-keeping.
- Communication with other staff. Presentations at weekly and clinical case conferences, carrying out audits and involvement in teaching junior staff and other professionals.
