Job Opportunity in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, challenging, and busy specialty to improve understanding and experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. These appointments are initially for 6 months and will be based mainly at Northwick Park Hospital.
Role Requirements
It requires motivated doctors with some Oral & Maxillofacial surgery experience to work with other trainee doctors and consultants to care for the emergency and elective patients within OMFS and Head & Neck. A broad-based knowledge in all aspects of OMFS is beneficial but the weekly timetable can be adjusted considering the experience of the successful candidate and the need of the service.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work as a member of the middle grade team who are both medically and dentally qualified doctors supporting services across the network and participating in 2nd call rota.
About the OMFS Service
The London North West Regional Maxillofacial Unit opened its doors at Northwick Park Hospital in May 2006. This is a Specialist Regional In-Patient Service with dedicated nursing and Critical Care support. In addition there is a prosthodontic and vibrant regional orthodontic service.
