Job Opportunity

We are looking to recruit either a Specialty Doctor, CESR or Specialist Doctor who is keen to be part of a progressive, innovative and dynamic team who is keen to work to improve patient care.

The successful candidate must be an excellent team player and committed to the delivery of high-quality patient care. We would welcome applications from candidates wishing to develop a special interest.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the highest clinical standards in the management of emergency services.
  • Shared responsibility for the day-to-day management of the clinical areas.
  • Responsible for providing high-quality leadership and effective team working.
  • Teaching and training of junior doctors, nurses and other staff.
  • Responsible for active participation in continuing medical education.
  • Participate in audit and quality assurance processes.

Our department is made up of a multi-disciplinary team of medical consultants, general practitioners, resident doctors, physicians associates, nurses, healthcare assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, management, and administrative staff who all work together to provide a safe, effective and caring environment to meet the medical needs of the local population. We have an increasing cohort of consultants with a broad range of interests to include search and rescue, dive medicine, research and development and expedition medicine.
