Working as part of the Reflex Technologies UK & Ireland Ltd team and reporting to the Country Manager, the Specification Manager is responsible for promoting the Reflex Winkelmann brand within mechanical & electrical design and consultancy practices across the territory.
Focusing on the complete Reflex product portfolio, the primary objective of this role is to identify key specification stakeholders, develop strong relationships within the specification community, and secure Reflex Winkelmann GmbH’s position as a preferred partner.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote Reflex Winkelmann products and solutions to consulting engineers, architects and other key specification influencers through presentations, CPD sessions and seminars.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consultant practices, supporting them with technical advice and securing Reflex specifications from the early design stages through to project completion. Ensure the full Reflex range is considered and specifications are protected throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor market and competitor activity, identify opportunities to grow Reflex Winkelmann’s presence within the territory and share relevant market feedback with the wider business.
- Work closely with Area Sales Managers and colleagues in Technical, Marketing and Product Management to progress specifications through to successful orders and support wider business objectives.

What You’ll Bring

- Proven experience in specification sales, technical sales or a similar customer-facing role within the construction, engineering or building services sector.
- A strong understanding of consultant practices, design processes and specification management.
- Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills, with the ability to engage confidently at all levels.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach, combined with the ability to work independently across a large territory.
- The ability to build trusted, long-term relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Based within the territory, with the flexibility and willingness to travel extensively as required.
