THE ROLE:

As a Specification Sales Manager, you will be responsible for securing product specifications across social housing and light commercial projects. Working closely with M&E contractors, consultants, housing associations, and local authorities, you will drive demand for a broad range of single & three-phase electrical distribution products including consumer units, distribution boards, circuit protection, EV points and energy meters.

The focus of the role is to gain specification at the front-end and ensure projects are delivered through established wholesale channels. You will deliver CPD presentations, develop relationships with key decision-makers, and identify new opportunities across refurbishment and new-build projects within your territory.

LOCATION:

Field-based role covering either the Midlands or South region. Candidates located across the Midlands or Southern England will be considered.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience selling electrical products through specification channels
  • Background working with social housing, local authorities, housing associations or M&E contractors
  • Knowledge of switchgear, consumer units, control panels, circuit protection or related electrical products advantageous
  • Strong relationship-building and presentation skills
  • Comfortable delivering CPDs and influencing stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Full UK driving licence
