Job Overview

We seek an enthusiastic and skilled Spectrum Engineering Manager/Engineer to:

  • Play a critical role in developing our Spectrum assets
  • Work closely with Regulatory & Market Access teams and technical teams
  • Contribute to ongoing global projects and initiatives

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate and prepare technical and regulatory contributions for:

    • ITU study groups
    • Regional organisations
    • World Radiocommunication Conferences (WRC)
  • Act as the internal Eutelsat coordinator for WRC agenda items relevant to Eutelsat

  • Manage the lifecycle of ITU filings, including:

    • Preparation
    • Coordination
    • Filing for GSO (Geostationary Orbit Satellites) and NGSO (Non-Geostationary Satellite Systems)
  • Represent and defend Eutelsat’s spectrum positions in:

    • International forums
    • National regulatory bodies
  • Analyse regulatory environments

  • Develop strategic responses to protect spectrum resources

  • Build and maintain relationships with national administrations, regulators and stakeholders

  • Provide regulatory analysis, spectrum studies, and market access support to internal teams

  • Travel periodically, as required, to relevant meetings and conferences

What You’ll Need

  • Education: Master's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline

  • Language: Fluency in English (mandatory); proficiency in French is highly appreciated

  • Experience:

    • At least 5+ years in:
      • Satellite communications
      • Spectrum management
    • A strong understanding of the regulatory environment and ITU procedures
  • Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Excellent communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or C
  • Technical understanding of GSO and NGSO satellite systems
