The Future Needs Exceptional Talent — Technical and Non-Technical
Location: West Edinburgh, Scotland, UK (On-site)
About the Company
We are a deep tech company building next-generation optical systems aimed at pushing the limits of precision manufacturing and nanoscale engineering. We are backed by substantial venture capital and have received grant support from several UK innovation agencies, and we are scaling with momentum.
We are looking for exceptional people from every discipline. If you are exploring your next move and want to work at the edge of what is possible, in an environment where ambition, curiosity, and growth are part of the everyday, we would like to hear from you.
We are a focused team taking on genuinely difficult hardware challenges. Ownership matters here: decisions are made thoughtfully, acted on quickly, and carried through with care. Our work is fast-paced and highly collaborative, and we give people the space, trust, and resources to do serious work well. If you want to help build something from the ground up and care deeply about getting it right, this could be a strong fit.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
