We’re working with an exciting and growing organisation that is looking for an ambitious Speech and Language Therapist to join its friendly, multidisciplinary team.

The Opportunity

Our Client delivers specialist therapeutic and assessment services to children, young people and families, working closely with schools, families and other professionals to achieve meaningful outcomes.

As a Speech and Language Therapist, you’ll primarily work across mainstream schools in Hillingdon, Uxbridge and Isleworth, delivering high-quality interventions and helping schools create communication-friendly environments.

You’ll have the opportunity to use your clinical expertise in a varied role that combines direct intervention, staff training, consultation, supervision and multidisciplinary working.

What You'll Be Doing

Your role will include:

  • Delivering targeted speech and language therapy interventions.
  • Developing individualised therapy programmes and pupil-centred intervention plans.
  • Working alongside SENCOs and school staff to implement universal communication strategies.
  • Providing training, coaching and workforce development to education teams.
  • Working collaboratively with families, teachers and other professionals.
  • Modelling therapeutic approaches and supporting their integration into everyday school practice.
  • Helping key adults develop the skills and confidence to support pupils with their communication needs.
  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary team across a range of educational settings.
  • Supporting a graduated approach in line with the SEND Code of Practice.
  • Contributing to positive outcomes for children and young people with a range of needs.

What We're Looking For

We’re keen to speak with qualified and HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapists who have experience working with children and young people, particularly within education or similar environments.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • A BSc, PGDip or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Experience working with children and young people in a relevant setting.
  • Experience providing professional and/or clinical supervision.
  • Experience developing and delivering training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The confidence to build strong relationships with schools, families and other professionals.
  • A collaborative, creative and child-centred approach.
