Speech and language therapist (Hayes)

Job Title: Locum Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist

Banding: Band 6 (AHP Grade)

Location: Wood End Centre, Judge Heath Lane, Hayes, UB3

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 12 weeks

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience

Job Overview

Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) to join the team at Wood End Centre in Hayes. This locum opportunity offers the chance to work in a supportive community setting, delivering high-quality speech and language therapy services to a varied caseload.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide assessment and intervention for patients with communication and swallowing difficulties
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Contribute to service development and uphold best practice standards

Requirements

  • HCPC registration (required)
  • RCSLT membership (preferred)
  • NHS experience (beneficial but not essential)
  • Car owner and driver (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
