Are you a Speech and Language Therapist looking for a new temporary opportunity?

Role Requirements

Vacancy Type: Part-Time

Contract Type: Temporary

Location: South Coast of England (Sussex Region) & Remote (Nationwide)

Dates: Flexible, work around your current commitments

Shift Times: Typically, 08:30-18:30

Pay Rate: £250 per completed assessment (outside IR35)

Duties:

  • Conduct face-to-face ADOS-2 assessments using the appropriate module for the child’s age and ability.
  • Record detailed behavioural observations.
  • Contribute findings to the MDT diagnostic discussion
  • Support the consultant clinician in providing same-day feedback to families.
  • Add a concise written summary of your ADOS findings to contribute to the diagnostic report (issued within six weeks).
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold safeguarding standards throughout.

Requirements:

  • Formal ADOS-2 or ADI-R training and certification.
  • Demonstrable experience contributing to autism diagnostic assessments.
  • Full compliance including up-to-date safeguarding training and enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
