Are you an SLT looking to develop your career in SEND — or already working within specialist education and ready for your next move?

We’re recruiting for a Speech & Language Therapist to join a specialist SEND school in Berkshire, supporting children and young people with autism and complex communication needs.

This could suit therapists across Band 5–7 equivalent level, with genuine scope to develop and progress within an established multidisciplinary team.

The role

You’ll work closely with pupils, teachers, families and fellow therapists to:

  • Assess speech, language and communication needs
  • Develop personalised communication strategies and interventions
  • Support pupils to express their needs, choices and views
  • Embed communication approaches across the school environment
  • Contribute your own ideas and clinical expertise within the wider therapy team

We’d love to hear from you if you are:

  • HCPC registered as a Speech & Language Therapist
  • Experienced within SEND or interested in moving into the sector
  • Passionate about supporting autistic children and young people with complex communication needs
  • Collaborative, reflective and keen to continue developing clinically
