About Hopscotch

Hopscotch Children’s Therapy Centre is a specialist paediatric clinic in the heart of London, delivering Sensory Integration, Occupational Therapy, and Speech and Language Therapy to children and young people aged 6 months to 25 years with neurodevelopmental differences including autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorder, dyspraxia, and developmental language disorder. We support families through EHCP-funded and private pathways, working closely with Local Authorities, schools, and multidisciplinary professionals.

We are growing rapidly and are looking for a passionate, clinically excellent Speech and Language Therapist to join our expanding SLT team at an exciting stage of the organisation’s development.

The Role

This is a full-time Speech and Language Therapist role within our specialist paediatric SLT service. You will manage an independent caseload, delivering comprehensive assessments and evidence-based interventions for children with a wide range of speech, language, communication, and feeding needs. You will work as part of our close-knit multidisciplinary team alongside Occupational Therapists, and contribute to EHCP assessments, progress reporting, and family-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

Assessment

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for children with a range of presentations including speech delays, language impairments, social communication difficulties, fluency disorders, and feeding and swallowing difficulties
  • Use a range of standardised assessment tools, clinical observation, and parent and teacher report to evaluate communication and swallowing skills
  • Interpret assessment findings and formulate clinically reasoned diagnoses and recommendations in line with current evidence and RCSLT guidance
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and educators to gather relevant background information and contextualise assessment findings

Therapy Planning & Intervention

  • Develop personalised, evidence-based therapy plans based on assessment findings, with clear, measurable goals set in collaboration with families
  • Deliver high-quality individual and group therapy sessions using age-appropriate, play-based, and structured approaches
  • Provide targeted intervention across areas including articulation, expressive and receptive language, social communication, fluency, and feeding and swallowing
  • Monitor and adapt therapy strategies to meet the evolving needs of each child, ensuring consistent and effective intervention
  • Deliver online therapy sessions for clients who are unable to attend in person

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
