I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You should already understand the fundamentals of video editing (CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar). Experience with AI tools is not required — only curiosity, initiative and a willingness to learn.
🎥 Your Main Focus:
- Edit vertical short-form videos that are punchy, on-trend, and platform-optimised
- Cut clips, add captions, layer trending sounds, and polish pacing to keep viewers hooked
- Create fast-moving B-roll, motion text, memes, and transitions that feel right for the algorithm
- Suggest content formats or visual styles that are blowing up on social this week
- Collaborate with our creative team on ideas, storyboards, and posting strategies
Tools You’ll Likely Use
- CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Rush (whatever you’re fastest in)
- Audio sync tools, auto-captioning tools, basic color correction and transitions
- Optional but cool: basic motion graphics or animation (even Canva video edits count!)
You’re a Great Fit If
- You’ve edited and published TikToks or Reels for yourself or for others
- You care about timing, text, sound, and structure not just aesthetics
- You can spot and adapt visual trends early
- You’re comfortable juggling raw footage, edits, feedback, and reposts on the fly
- Bonus: You have a mini portfolio, content account, or video reel to share
What You’ll Get
- Practical experience managing real campaigns
- Guidance from a team that moves quickly and values initiative
- Access to tools, templates, and workflows used in the real world
- Freedom to experiment with ideas and learn from outcomes
- A recommendation and portfolio material for future roles
This is an unpaid internship, but the learning, exposure, and connections are real.
Time Commitment & Expectations
This internship is designed to be flexible, practical and immersive. You’ll work across live projects and creative initiatives directly tied to the company’s growth.
