Job Title: SPIRE Technical Specialist

Location: London

Duration: 6 months

Inside IR35

This is a great role for someone with experience of structured finance, SPV structures (in particular SPIRE – the Single Platform Investment Repackaging Entity), derivatives, fixed income and investment operations who is looking to help deliver a high-profile strategic initiative. If you enjoy solving complex cross-functional challenges, engaging with senior stakeholders, and turning ambitious concepts into practical solutions, we'd love to hear from you.

A bit about the job

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Shareholder Investment team and play a leading role in the development of our SPIRE programme. SPIRE has the potential to unlock a range of strategic investment opportunities across our shareholder and annuity portfolios.

Working closely with colleagues across our in-house Asset Manager, Treasury, Operations, Change, Risk, Legal and external operational partners, you will help design and progress SPIRE solutions from concept through to implementation readiness.

You will act as a subject matter expert, helping the business navigate complex technical challenges, challenge assumptions, identify practical solutions and establish a clear delivery roadmap. The role offers significant exposure across our business and the opportunity to influence a strategic initiative with meaningful commercial and operational benefits.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
