STV is Scotland’s leading platform for audiences and advertisers and a global content powerhouse. On-air, STV reaches more than 70% of Scottish adults every month through its TV channel - the largest commercial channel in Scotland - and streaming service, STV Player, which is also available across the rest of the UK. STV has expanded its audience even further by introducing an audio division, with STV Radio - a major new Scotland-focused commercial radio station – which launched at the start of 2026.
From bases across the UK, STV’s content production arm, STV Studios, creates world-class entertainment for UK and international networks and streamers, including Apple TV+ drama Criminal Record, BBC police drama Blue Lights and Sky’s Amadeus, as well as entertainment formats like Catchphrase and Bridge of Lies.

THE ROLE
This is a rare and unique opportunity to be part of Scotland’s newest radio station. The Sponsorship & Promotions Manager will play a key role in building commercial partnerships; driving revenue; developing creative campaigns and implementing activity that delivers results for clients across Scotland.
This new role combines a strategic sales focus with creative thinking and precision delivery skills. It is ideal for an experienced sponsorship and promotions professional who is passionate about, and experienced in, radio sales and delivering stand out campaigns for clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver the sales and implementation of sponsorship and promotional campaigns from concept to full execution.
- Design and develop compelling sponsorship packages and on-air promotions in collaboration with sales, partnerships, programming, marketing and creative teams to integrate seamlessly and with maximum effectiveness across on-air, online and event opportunities as relevant.
- Manage all timelines, production, talent coordination, legal compliance, and post-campaign reporting.
- Plan and manage promotional events, including the likes of station appearances and client activations, coordinating all logistics.
- Drive revenue across all sponsorship and promotions.
- Identify, pitch and secure commercial partnerships with new and existing advertisers. Working closely with the sales and partnerships teams to identify opportunities for existing clients ensuring that campaign objectives are met and exceeded.
- Manage multiple sponsorship deals, promotional campaigns, deadlines, analysis and budgets simultaneously.
- Develop and manage competitions and giveaways that will appeal to listeners; co-ordinate the entire process from concept development to prize fulfilment and ensure smooth execution and maximum audience engagement.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients as a trusted brand ambassador for STV.
- Assist in any other aspect of the work of the Company as reasonably required.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Demonstrable depth of experience of developing, executing, and optimising sponsorship and promotions in a radio environment is essential.
- In depth understanding of Sponsorship & Promotions trading in the Scottish radio market.
- Experience of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
- Proven track record of understanding client needs and building creative and innovative campaigns that deliver results and excite audiences.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate at all levels.
- Skilled at preparing, and pitching, compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Excellent project management skills with strengths in multi-tasking, meeting deadlines and ensuring high attention to detail across all aspects of the campaign.
- A solid understanding of digital and social channels that complement partnerships.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and long-term partnerships with clients.
- Creative thinking and the ability to continuously innovate.
