About Technology Leaders Club

Technology Leaders Club brings senior technology leaders and the companies that want to engage them together in the right room, at the right time.

We create high-level, invitation-only experiences for CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, Data & AI leaders and other senior technology executives — from intimate executive dinners and virtual roundtables to residential summits and standout experiences including track days, clay shooting and private hospitality.

Our events are deliberately different.

  • No huge exhibition halls.
  • No endless rows of stands.
  • No badge-scanning free-for-all.

Instead, we create carefully curated environments where technology vendors can build genuine relationships with the senior decision-makers they most want to meet.

We're growing, and we're looking for an ambitious Sponsorship Sales Executive to help us take that growth to the next level.

The Role

This is a commercial sales role focused on winning new sponsorship business across the TLC portfolio.

You'll be speaking with marketing, field marketing, demand generation, executive engagement and sales leaders within some of the world's leading technology and cybersecurity companies.

Your job isn't simply to sell them an event package.

It's to understand who they need to engage, what they're trying to achieve and where TLC can help them create meaningful conversations with those people.

You'll sell sponsorship across our portfolio of:

  • Executive Dinners
  • Signature Experiences
  • Virtual Roundtables
  • CISO Summits
  • Data & AI Summits
  • Bespoke executive engagement programmes

You'll own the sales process from prospecting and first conversation through to proposal, negotiation and close.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll build and manage your own pipeline of technology vendors and partners, proactively identifying organisations that should be working with TLC.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You'll prospect through phone, email, LinkedIn and your own network, while developing relationships with senior marketing and commercial decision-makers.

You'll run discovery conversations to understand campaign objectives, target accounts, audiences and commercial priorities before recommending the right TLC opportunity.

You'll create proposals, negotiate sponsorship agreements and close business while maintaining an accurate and well-managed pipeline.

Just as importantly, you'll work closely with the wider TLC team to ensure what we sell can be delivered brilliantly.

This isn't a role where you're handed a list and expected to send hundreds of generic emails.

We expect intelligent prospecting, good commercial judgement and the confidence to have proper conversations with senior people.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is commercially hungry, confident and comfortable creating opportunities rather than waiting for them.

Ideally, you'll already have experience selling:

  • B2B event sponsorship
  • Executive engagement programmes
  • Marketing or demand-generation solutions
  • Technology events or communities
  • Media, conferences or other high-value B2B solutions

Technology or cybersecurity market experience would be a significant advantage, but attitude, sales ability and commercial instinct matter more.

You'll need to be comfortable picking up the phone, opening doors and building relationships from scratch.

You should also be confident selling value rather than price.

Our best partnerships come from understanding what a client is actually trying to achieve and building the right programme around it — not simply discounting a sponsorship package until someone says yes.

What Success Looks Like

You'll develop your own portfolio of technology clients, consistently build qualified pipeline and convert that pipeline into sponsorship revenue.

Over time, we'd expect you to build strong relationships with your clients so that TLC becomes part of their ongoing executive engagement strategy rather than a one-off event purchase.

There is significant earning potential for someone who can do that well.

Why TLC?

We're building something very different from the traditional conference model.

TLC works with senior technology executives because we obsess over the quality of the audience, the environment and the conversations we create.

For our commercial team, that means having something genuinely valuable to sell.

You'll join an ambitious, entrepreneurial business where good ideas don't disappear through six layers of management and strong performance is rewarded.

You'll have:

  • A highly competitive uncapped commission structure
  • Strong earning potential for high performers
  • A fully remote working environment
  • An established portfolio of technology clients
  • Premium events and experiences that are genuinely enjoyable to sell
  • Direct access to the leadership team
  • Real opportunity to progress as TLC grows

And, unlike many event businesses, you'll actually get to see the experiences you're selling come to life.

The Person

We're less interested in where you've worked than what you're capable of.

You'll probably thrive here if you're competitive, resilient and naturally curious.

You enjoy winning new business.

You're comfortable being accountable for a number.

You don't need someone standing over you telling you to make another call.

You can hold your own in conversations with senior marketing and technology professionals.

And when you hear "no", your instinct isn't to give up, it's to understand why.

If that sounds like you, we'd like to hear from you.
