Sponsorship Sales Manager
Location: London, Victoria
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 3 days in the office

The Role
We are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Sponsorship Sales Manager to join our growing sales team.
You will be responsible for generating sponsorship revenue across a portfolio of international conferences and events. This is a full-cycle sales role, covering everything from identifying and prospecting new business opportunities through to pitching, negotiating, closing, and managing client relationships.
You will work with businesses across a range of industries, identifying their commercial objectives and developing tailored sponsorship and partnership opportunities that deliver genuine value.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in sponsorship sales, B2B sales, business development, media sales, events, or another consultative sales environment who is looking to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and outreach through to pitching, negotiation, closing, and account management
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, research, and industry events
- Sell a range of sponsorship, partnership, exhibition, and marketing opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers and key stakeholders
- Understand client objectives and develop tailored commercial opportunities to meet their needs
- Manage and grow existing client accounts to maximise long-term revenue
- Research target markets, identify prospects, and build a strong sales pipeline
- Conduct engaging sales presentations and commercial negotiations
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide reliable pipeline and revenue forecasts
- Work closely with internal teams including marketing, production, and operations to deliver a high-quality client experience
- Stay informed on relevant industries, competitors, market trends, and commercial opportunities

About You
We are looking for someone who is commercially minded, resilient, ambitious, and motivated by achieving results.
You may have experience in sponsorship sales, B2B sales, media sales, events, recruitment, advertising, technology sales, or another target-driven sales environment.
Ideally, you will have:
- 2+ years' experience in sponsorship sales, B2B sales, business development, media sales, events, or a similar commercial role
- A proven track record of generating new business and achieving revenue targets
- Experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closing and account management
- Strong outbound prospecting and business development skills
- A confident and consultative approach to selling
- The ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- A strong commercial mindset and a genuine desire to succeed
- Resilience and the ability to work effectively in a target-driven environment
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- Confidence using CRM systems, LinkedIn, Microsoft Outlook, and standard business technology
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
