Senior Sales Manager – Textile & Sustainability Conferences

Location: London – Hybrid

Salary: Up to £50k DOE + uncapped commission

About the Role

Ark Recruitment is working with a fast-growing international conference and media business operating at the intersection of textiles, fashion, and sustainability. Our client delivers high-level B2B conferences, research, industry insight, and stakeholder engagement, bringing together senior decision-makers across global supply chains to tackle some of the industry's biggest challenges.

They are seeking a Senior Sales Manager to take ownership of sponsorship sales across an established and highly successful portfolio of international conferences.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end sponsorship sales process, from prospecting and outreach through to pitching, negotiation, and closing.
  • Drive new business development while renewing, expanding, and upselling existing client relationships.
  • Sell tailored sponsorship and partnership packages across a portfolio of international conferences, as well as ownership of sponsorship sales for new international launches.
  • Identify opportunities to build larger, longer-term annual partnerships with key clients.
  • Work closely with conference production, marketing, and operations teams to ensure a strong sponsor experience.
  • Manage multiple event cycles simultaneously, maintaining a clear focus on revenue generation and pipeline development.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasting, and pipeline reporting using Salesforce.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new commercial opportunities.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • 3–5 years' B2B sales experience, ideally within conferences, events, media, publishing, or a related sector.
  • A proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills, with the confidence to engage senior decision-makers.
  • A commercially driven and proactive approach to new business development.
  • The ability to manage a pipeline independently and take ownership of your own sales strategy.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A genuine interest in textiles, fashion, sustainability, or global supply chains would be highly advantageous.
