Base Salary
£50k-70k p/a negotiable dependant upon experience plus excellent bonuses
OTE

Location
Central London, Hybrid working 1-2 days a week in office, WFH rest of the time
We’re recruiting for an ambitious Sponsorship Sales Manager to take a leading commercial role within an established organisation operating across the renewable energy and sustainability sectors.
This is a senior, hands-on sales position combining direct sponsorship sales with commercial strategy and team leadership. You’ll personally develop and close high-value sponsorship opportunities while overseeing a small commercial team responsible for additional revenue streams including memberships, exhibitions, advertising and events.
You’ll work closely with senior leadership to shape commercial strategy, build new revenue opportunities and develop long-term relationships with major organisations across the UK and international markets.
The role
- Own and deliver sponsorship revenue targets across a portfolio of events, campaigns and commercial products
- Identify, approach and secure new sponsors and strategic partners
- Develop relationships with senior decision-makers and key accounts
- Negotiate high-value and multi-year commercial agreements
- Lead, coach and develop a small sales/business development team
- Drive revenue across sponsorship, memberships, exhibitions, advertising and events
- Develop new commercial opportunities and routes to market
- Manage sales pipelines, forecasting, budgets and commercial reporting
- Work closely with marketing, events and senior leadership teams
- Represent the organisation at conferences, exhibitions and industry events in the UK and internationally

We’re looking for:
- A strong track record in B2B sponsorship sales
- Proven experience consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets
- Experience managing, coaching or leading salespeople
- Strong new-business development and negotiation skills
- Confidence selling to senior-level stakeholders
- Experience managing pipelines, forecasting and commercial targets
- International business development experience
- A commercially driven, proactive approach with the ability to operate strategically while still personally closing business

Experience within conferences, exhibitions, B2B media, trade associations, membership organisations or professional bodies would be particularly relevant.
Previous experience within renewable energy, sustainability, utilities, agriculture, environmental services or related sectors would be advantageous but is not essential.
Package & working arrangements
- £50,000–£70,000 basic salary
- Uncapped commission
- £80,000–£100,000 realistic OTE
- Hybrid working
- London office approximately 1–2 days per week
- Flexible working arrangements
- Occasional UK and international travel
