We've been engaged to recruit a Sponsorship Sales Representative on a 6-month contract for an internationally recognised organisation operating within HR research, consultancy, and events. This is a newly created role focused on building sponsorship revenue for a major new conference launching in May 2027.

With an established international customer base and strong relationships across the HR community, the business is now expanding its events portfolio with a new flagship conference designed to bring together more than 1,000 HR leaders and senior decision-makers.
The Role
- Own sponsorship sales for a new global HR leadership conference and associated dinner.
- Generate sponsorship revenue across technology, consulting, financial services, and business services companies.
- Target senior Marketing, Brand, and Commercial decision-makers.
- Operate globally, selling sponsorship packages typically worth €20K-€30K.
- Work towards a €150K sponsorship target, with approximately 6-8 sponsors required.
- Leverage an existing network of 2,500 warm customer relationships and introductions alongside your own prospecting.
- Manage the full sponsorship sales process from initial approach through to securing and retaining sponsors.
- Work towards a May 2027 event, with typical sponsorship lead times of approximately one month.

The Candidate
- 5+ years' experience in sponsorship sales, events, exhibitions, or multi-platform media sales.
- Proven track record of winning and retaining commercial sponsors.
- Confident engaging senior Marketing, Brand, and Commercial stakeholders.
- Highly organised and credible, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A genuine self-starter who enjoys building something new and taking ownership of a sales target.
- Experience selling into the HR market would be advantageous but is not essential.
The Package
- Annualised Basic Salary: £50,000
- Annualised OTE: £75,000-£80,000
