Base Location You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in either our Dublin or Belfast office
Salary €50,000 - €60,000 (ROI) or £37,000 - £47,000 (NI) + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
Working Pattern 18-month Fixed Term Contract | Full Time | Flexible First options available
The role
Sponsorship helps SSE create value, build trust and strengthen relationships with customers, colleagues and communities.
As our Sponsorship Specialist within the SSE Energy Customer Solutions business (SSE Airtricity and SSE Energy Solutions), you will help manage and activate a varied portfolio of partnerships across sport, entertainment, sustainability, education and community engagement.
This is a hands-on role spanning campaign planning, partner management, customer rewards, hospitality and performance reporting. You will work with colleagues, agencies and rights holders to turn sponsorship rights into campaigns, content and experiences that build our brand, strengthen customer loyalty and support commercial goals.
You will have the opportunity to shape visible partnership activity, bring new ideas to the team and see the customer and business impact of your work.
You will
- Help bring SSE's sponsorship strategy to life by activating partnerships that create value for customers, communities and the business.
- Develop and deliver integrated campaigns, content, experiences and rewards programmes that maximise the value of our partnerships.
- Manage sponsorship hospitality, ticketing and customer experiences to ensure strong utilisation and governance.
- Use insight, performance data and customer understanding to evaluate activity, optimise performance and inform future investment decisions.
- Build strong relationships with rights holders, agencies and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality activation and identify new opportunities.

You have
- Experience in sponsorship, partnerships, brand activation or experiential marketing, with a track record of delivering campaigns, content or experiences from planning through to execution and evaluation.
- A strong understanding of how sponsorship can create value for customers, build brand preference and deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively with agencies, rights holders, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Commercially minded and comfortable using insight and performance data to measure success, optimise activity and inform future investment decisions.
- Creative, proactive and organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while finding new ways to make partnerships work harder.
Due to required travel, a full clean driving licence is required.
