Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sponsorships Manager Defence, based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with some flexibility for work from home. The Sponsorships Manager will develop and manage sponsorship strategies and packages within the defence sector, identifying and securing sponsorship opportunities for events, trade shows, and industry initiatives. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, sponsors, and partners, preparing proposals and presentations, and negotiating sponsorship agreements to meet revenue and partnership goals.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Coordinating sponsorship deliverables
- Ensuring brand alignment
- Monitoring performance against agreed objectives
- Collaborating with marketing, events, and advisory teams to maximize value for sponsors and clients
The Sponsorships Manager will also:
- Track market trends in defence and aerospace
- Provide regular reports
- Contribute to continuous improvement of sponsorship offerings
Qualifications
- Strong experience in sponsorship management in the Defence & Security Industry, partnership development, or business development, ideally within defence, aerospace, or related industries.
- Proven skills in stakeholder engagement, relationship building, and negotiation, with the ability to influence at multiple organizational levels.
- Capability in proposal writing, presentation development, and contract review, with attention to detail and commercial awareness.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including marketing and events, to design and deliver sponsorship activations and campaigns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment, managing time effectively between on-site meetings in the London area and remote work.
- Knowledge of defence and aerospace market dynamics, trade shows, and industry networks is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, International Relations, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
