The British Racing & Sports Car Club (BRSCC)

About the Role

The BRSCC is expanding its Sporting & Operations team and is looking for a Sporting & Operations Assistant to join us at our headquarters in Wheatley, Oxfordshire.

This is a newly created position, providing additional resource as the Club continues to develop its portfolio of championships, race meetings and membership activities.

The BRSCC is one of the UK’s leading motorsport event organisers, running more than 30 race meetings each year and administering a wide range of championships and series, including the British GT Championship.

Working as part of our Sporting & Operations team, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, enthusiastic and keen to build a career within motorsport. The successful candidate will provide administrative and operational support across the Club’s sporting activities, while gaining hands-on experience in the preparation and delivery of race meetings and championships.

Previous motorsport or event administration experience would be advantageous, but is not essential. Full training will be provided on the Club’s systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

The role will include:

  • Responding to competitor, member and general enquiries by telephone and email.
  • Communicating with competitors and members regarding race entries, championships, events and other relevant information.
  • Supporting the administration of the Club’s championships and series throughout the season.
  • Assisting with race entry administration and maintaining accurate competitor and event information.
  • Preparing and assisting with event documentation and other sporting administration.
  • Supporting pre-season and pre-event planning, logistics and operational requirements.
  • Assisting with post-event administration and follow-up.
  • Providing on-the-ground support at selected race meetings, including competitor liaison and general event coordination.
  • Working with colleagues across the Club to support the effective delivery of its wider sporting and membership activities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
