- Salary: £25,194 per annum with uniform provided
- Hours: Working shifts between 06.00-22.30, including weekends
- Location: Aldershot Garrison Sports Centre

Your Role:
- To advise users of the Centre of the Centre’s regulations and the correct and safe use of the facilities.
- To maintain strict supervision over swimming pool users and to always ensure their safety, and carry out swimming pool rescues, to apply resuscitation and to administer first aid as may be necessary.
- To have due regard for the security of equipment and premises as may be indicated and to ensure any maintenance issues are logged and procedures followed.
- To carry out cleaning duties as necessary and to ensure the building is as clean as possible. This may include cubicles, toilets, and drains. To continuously combat the problem of litter whilst on the premises.

What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: GCSE English or equivalent. A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and First Aid at Work Qualification would be beneficial. There will be requirements to attend 1 x NPLQ Training Session Per Month to keep the qualification valid.
- Experience: Be a confident swimmer. To have excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Skills: Be committed to putting customers first and deliver high-quality service that meets or exceeds expectations of both internal and external customers. Have excellent customer service skills and can effectively and clearly. Works effectively with others and maintains constructive relationships within the team, across the business, and externally.
- DBS clearance check is required with renewal every three years.
