The role

To assist the Sports Centre Manager in the day to day running of the University of Bristol’s Indoor Sports Centre, to ensure the safety of staff, and customers and provide them with a safe clean facility.

What will you be doing?

  • To supervise and provide effective leadership to a team of Sports Centre Assistants and Receptionists staff.
  • To contribute to the overall management of the Sports Centres and deliver on the divisions Strategic Priorities.
  • To supervise the activities, staff, customers and equipment of the Universities Sports areas.

You should apply if

  • Applicants must have a passion and dedication to the provision of sport and physical activity.
  • Applicants must have experience working in a busy multi-sport leisure environment putting Customer Service excellence at the heart of everything you do.
  • Applicants must have a proactive, positive, ‘can do’ attitude and a flexible approach to tasks and workload
  • Applicants must hold a current NPLQ qualification/equivalent due to the multi-site cover possibilities.
