Temple University's Division of Student Affairs is searching for a Sports Club Coordinator.

Salary Range: $45,000 - $49,000

Position Summary
The Sports Club Coordinator serves as a member of Campus Recreation and reports to the Assistant Director of Programs. Coordinates and manages all aspects of the Sports Club program in collaboration with the Assistant Director of Programs. The Sports Club Coordinator also recruits, hires, and trains student staff. Develops and applies policies and procedures as they relate to Sports Club, including documentation of processes and protocols. Additionally, this position assists in the general marketing of clubs and the entire sports club program in consideration with club officers and department marketing team.
Performs other duties as assigned.
The Sports Club Coordinator must be able to work flexible shifts between 6am-11pm as well as weekends when needed.
Job Details
This position requires the following background checks: criminal history review, child abuse clearance and FBI fingerprinting, cash handling and Personally Identifiable Information background check. These checks must be completed prior to commencement of service. Offer of employment is conditional upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug and physical screening.

Required Education And Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- And at least two years' full-time, professional experience in Recreation, Physical Education, Kinesiology or related field.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Preferred Experience
- Certifications in CPR/AED/First Aid.

- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills along with the ability to interact with a diverse group of individuals inside and outside of the university.
- Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
- Demonstrated ability to set priorities, coordinate multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills along with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Ability to translate and communicate the mission of a complex, urban university.
- Ability to persuasively represent University goals to various constituency groups.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts between 6am-11pm as well as weekends when needed.
- Intensive concentration and excellent listening skills.
- Ability to multi-task and focus on completion of tasks and objectives while under stress of demanding work schedule.
- Must maintain a positive and objective approach and attitude, even when confronted with difficult situations.
