NS Coaching delivers sports coaching solutions to Primary and Prep Schools, including extra-curricular clubs, PE lessons and is an official provider for Super Skills, a football skills development program. Based in Hertfordshire, the team focuses on creating engaging, high-quality sports experiences that promote skill development, fitness, and confidence in children. Applicants will join a growing company committed to inspiring young people through sport.
Role Description
This part-time Sports Coach role is on-site and based in and around the Welwyn-Hatfield area. The Sports Coach will plan and deliver structured sports sessions for children in Primary at extra-curricular clubs. Responsibilities include:

The role may also involve:
- Leading small group coaching sessions
- Supporting sports-themed events or parties as needed
- Handling other sports-related requests such as weekend & evening sessions & school sport events
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Sports Coaching and Sports Training skills to deliver engaging and age-appropriate sessions.
- Candidates should possess solid Physical Education and Coaching skills to plan, structure, and assess learning outcomes in school-based activities.
- Candidates should possess clear and effective Communication skills to work with children, school staff, and families.
- Relevant coaching certifications or PE qualifications are beneficial, ideally a Level 2 qualification.
- Experience working with children in a school or community sports setting is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage groups safely, maintain discipline positively, and adapt activities for varying abilities.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible part-time hours during school terms.
- An enhanced background check (e.g., DBS or equivalent) and right to work in the UK are required.
