Are you a passionate and dedicated Sports Coach with a love for inspiring young people through physical activity and teamwork?

We have an exciting opportunity for you! Our schools in Swindon are seeking enthusiastic Sports Coaches to join our team immediately, where you can make a real difference by promoting health, fitness, and personal development in students.

As a Sports Coach, you will play a vital role in nurturing students' physical abilities while instilling values such as teamwork, discipline, and resilience. We pride ourselves on creating a collaborative and dynamic environment that promotes holistic development and supports students' physical and mental well-being.

The Role

As a Sports Coach, you will work closely with students to enhance their physical fitness, skills, and overall enjoyment of sports. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Personalised Coaching: Provide tailored coaching sessions that cater to individual student needs, helping them to develop their athletic skills and confidence.
  • Team Building: Foster teamwork and cooperation through group sports activities, encouraging positive interaction and collaboration among students.
  • Physical Development: Promote physical health and fitness, encouraging students to lead active, healthy lifestyles both in and out of school.
  • Positive Behaviour Reinforcement: Use sports as a medium to promote discipline, perseverance, and respect, ensuring a positive impact on students' behaviour and attitudes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers and school staff to integrate sports into the overall educational experience, supporting students' physical and emotional development.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Sports Coach or in a similar role, particularly working with young people.
  • A passion for physical education and a genuine desire to help students improve their fitness, teamwork, and personal skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Adaptability and the ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
  • Experience with behaviour management techniques is desirable. Team Teach training is preferred, but not essential, and we offer Team Teach training free of charge to successful candidates.
