Sports Coach Level 1 - £13.47 per hour
Teignbridge Leisure - Newton Abbot Leisure Centre, Broadmeadow Sports Centre and Dawlish Leisure Centre.
Are you a high-energy, enthusiastic sports coach passionate about children’s health and wellbeing?
We are looking for a Sports Coach to deliver and organise a wide range of sporting/physical activity sessions for children of all ages. You will have a sports/leadership qualification (or be willing to complete a training course) and ideally have coaching experience, particularly in dodgeball, pickleball, basketball & badminton.
What can you offer us?
We’re looking to grow our Junior Programme. Currently, our sessions are mainly weekday evenings 16:00 – 18:00 but there is opportunity to expand the programme. The sessions tend to be 1 hour however applicants could be offered back-to-back sessions.
We are open to introducing new sporting sessions to our programme so let us know in your application form what you would love to deliver to our junior members.

- Can provide encouragement and support to children of all abilities, ensuring a fun and safe learning experience.
What we would love you to have:
- Coaching experience and ideally have a sports/leadership qualification.
- Experience in delivering children's sports and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to encourage and lead.
