Do you have a passion for making a difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs?

Supporting children with additional needs is incredibly rewarding—no two days are the same, and the relationships you build can have a lifelong impact. The work can be demanding and requires resilience, but the sense of purpose and the progress you help children achieve far outweigh the challenges.

Springwell School, rated Outstanding in each of our last four Ofsted inspections, sits on the edge of Southampton and is a large, designated day special school for children aged 4–11. Our pupils have a range of complex learning needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties and behaviours that may challenge.

We foster a warm, positive, and collaborative learning environment where pupils and staff support one another to thrive both academically and personally. Our commitment is to provide the highest-quality education for our children while offering robust support to their families and the adults who work with them.

We are seeking to appoint a Level 2 Sports Coach. You will teach PE across the primary age range for children with a variety of complex academic, physical and emotional/behavioural needs. This could be on a class, group or individual basis. You will benefit from excellent facilities and equipment including the school hall, multi-sensory rooms, hydrotherapy pool, large playing field, trim trails and MUGA.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
