LWL Gym is an 8,000 sq ft fitness facility equipped with a wide range of cardio machines, free weights, and specialist equipment including Watson Gym Equipment, Kustom Gym Kit, Exigo machinery, and Olympic platforms. The gym offers an onsite health café, in-house physiotherapy, pole fitness, a full class timetable, gym memberships, and elite personal training services. LWL Gym focuses on delivering a health club experience with high-quality coaching and training for a diverse member base. The environment is designed to support both everyday fitness goals and advanced athletic performance.
Role Description
The Sports Coach at LWL Gym is a full-time, on-site role based in Littleborough. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Planning and delivering sports and fitness coaching sessions
- Providing individualized training programs
- Supervising members while they use gym equipment to ensure safety and effective technique
- Leading group classes
- Offering one-to-one coaching
- Collaborating with other team members such as personal trainers and physiotherapists to support member progress
- Monitoring performance
- Offering constructive feedback
- Maintaining a positive, motivating atmosphere that aligns with the gym’s elite coaching standards

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Physical Education and Sports Training, with the ability to design and adapt training programs to different fitness levels.
- Proven experience in Coaching and Sports Coaching, including leading group sessions and providing one-to-one instruction with a level of experience in Kids Coaching.
- Effective Communication skills, with the ability to explain techniques clearly, give feedback, and build rapport with a diverse member base.
- Relevant certifications in fitness, sports coaching, or personal training (e.g., Level 2/3 fitness qualifications or equivalent) are highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of safe exercise practices, injury prevention, and basic exercise science; experience in a gym or health club setting is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible hours, maintain professional conduct, and contribute positively to a team-focused, member-centric environment.
