Unlok is building a next-generation real-time and historical data platform for event-driven markets. We're looking for a Sports Data Lead to build our sports data foundation from the ground up.
What You'll Do
- Source and evaluate sports data feeds, APIs, and providers
- Build canonical datasets across teams, players, leagues, games, and events
- Map and reconcile data across multiple sources
- Own data quality, accuracy, latency, and historical integrity
- Define rules for postponements, cancellations, corrections, and other edge cases
- Work closely with engineers to build scalable ingestion and data pipelines
- Expand coverage across major global sports

What We're Looking For
- 4+ years working professionally with sports data
- Deep understanding of sports events, schedules, results, and data structures
- Experience with Sportradar, Stats Perform/Opta, Genius Sports, SportsDataIO, TXODDS, or similar
- Strong SQL + practical Python
- Experience with APIs, data normalization, and entity resolution
- Exceptional attention to detail and data-quality mindset
