This role carries a high level of safeguarding responsibilities.

Full safeguarding checks will be carried out on the successful applicant. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013, and 2020.

The successful applicant will have the ability to support the Physical Education department in the delivery of some or all of the following sports – Netball, Hockey, Badminton, Cricket, and Athletics is desirable. Applicants with expertise in Hockey and/or Netball will be considered more favourably.

Accommodation and meals are provided during the term time. All Graduate Assistant Teachers of Sport are expected to play a full role in the life of the School outside the classroom, including one evening boarding house duty per week.
