About the Role
This full-time post is available from immediately on a permanent basis.
This post is based in the Grounds Sports Department and will be covering a range of grass and artificial sports surfaces for winter and summer activities. General tasks of the position will include setting up and inspecting playing surfaces to the highest standard, line marking and setting out pitches, cricket square preparations and using a wide variety of sports surface equipment. The post holder will also be deployed across the Exeter campuses also supporting the horticultural team to varying degrees across the year.
This Job role plays is a key element in a superb student experience and in the delivery of the inter University Championships (BUCS) and in-house competitions.
Requirements
You should be able to display experience in the maintenance, inspection and marking of sports pitches. You must also be able to demonstrate knowledge of the safe operation of a range of sports maintenance machinery, equipment and tools.
You must be able to work flexibly as part of a team or under your own initiative, provide evidence of good customer care and be able to travel to various Exeter facilities to start your Woking day.
