About the Role
Established in 1953, Westfield F.C. is based in the Westfield area of Woking, England. The club is affiliated to the Surrey County Football Association. They are currently members of the Isthmian League South Central Division.
The Sports Investment & Capital Advisor will provide strategic guidance on capital formation, fundraising, ownership structure, valuation, and long-term financial positioning for Westfield Football Club. This role is suited for an investor, sports finance professional, private equity professional, venture capital professional, or strategic advisor with an interest in emerging sports assets. The advisor will work closely with club leadership to identify opportunities to strengthen Westfield Football Club's financial foundation and position the organization for sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Capital Formation
- Advise on fundraising strategy and potential investment structures

Investor Development
- Identify potential investors and strategic capital partners
- Leverage professional networks to facilitate introductions
- Assist with investor communications and relationship management
Financial Strategy
- Evaluate long-term financial planning and capital requirements
- Review opportunities for revenue diversification
- Provide insight into financial benchmarks for comparable sports organizations

Growth Strategy
- Assess opportunities related to league growth, facilities, media, sponsorship, and commercial partnerships
- Provide financial perspective on strategic expansion opportunities
Ideal Candidate
- 2+ years of experience in finance, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate finance, or sports business
- Understanding of financial modeling, valuation, or capital raising
- Strong professional network within finance, investment, or sports
- Ability to evaluate investment opportunities objectively
- Interest in soccer and emerging sports properties
- Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to contribute in an advisory capacity
