We are assisting a leading UK sports practice to identify senior sports lawyers (Senior Associate, Counsel or Partner level)
With a strong reputation in the sector and portable client relationships across football, rugby, cricket, boxing, motorsport, esports, or wider commercial sports markets.
The team
Advises elite clubs, governing bodies, athletes, agencies, broadcasters, and commercial rights-holders on the full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious sports matters. Their work spans:
- Football regulatory & disciplinary (domestic and international)
- Player-club disputes, contract negotiation, and transfer-related advisory
- Commercial sports agreements, sponsorship, image rights, licensing, media & digital rights
- High-value sports litigation, arbitration, reputation management, and regulatory investigations
- Governance, compliance, and integrity matters
- Women’s football growth mandates, talent pathways, and club advisory

The practice
Is now seeking to strengthen its Directory rated Sports practice with lawyers who bring:
- A recognised profile in sports law or football regulatory work
- A credible portable network (athletes, clubs, agents, governing bodies, commercial sports organisations)
- Experience leading complex matters independently
- The ability to contribute to a high-performing, commercially driven sports offering
- Interest in joining a platform known for premium sports, media, entertainment, and commercial work
