Spray Cell Operative

Location: Coven, Wolverhampton
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: Rotating shift pattern 6-2/2-10 Mon – Fri
Department: Production

About the Role

We are looking for a Spray Cell Operative to join a busy production environment. You will be responsible for spraying undercoat or glaze onto sinks, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained before products move through to the kiln process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect products prior to spraying and identify any defects.
  • Spray products safely and to the required quality standards.
  • Complete all required checks and paperwork.
  • Follow company procedures, SOPs, and health & safety requirements.
  • Wear the correct PPE at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized work area.
  • Meet production targets and quality standards.
  • Report defects, equipment issues, or unsafe practices.
  • Work effectively as part of a team and support other areas when required.

  • Previous spraying experience, such as car spraying, is desirable.
  • Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
  • Comfortable working to targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable, team-focused, and willing to learn.
  • Good communication skills and a positive, solutions-focused attitude.
