Residential Fire Sprinkler Installer
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Residential Fire Sprinkler Installer to join our team, installing domestic and residential fire sprinkler systems in accordance with BS 9251 and relevant building regulations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing sprinkler pipework, fittings, sprinkler heads and associated equipment across residential projects, ensuring systems are installed safely, neatly and to the required standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install residential fire sprinkler systems in accordance with BS 9251 and project specifications.
- Install and connect sprinkler pipework, fittings, valves and sprinkler heads.
- Work from drawings, layouts and installation specifications.
- Carry out hydraulic and pressure testing as required.
- Identify and resolve installation issues on site.
- Ensure sprinkler heads and pipework are correctly positioned and supported.
- Install associated equipment including isolation valves, test facilities, pumps and tanks where required.
- Liaise with site managers, builders, electricians and other trades.
- Complete installation records and relevant documentation.
- Carry out remedial works and system modifications where required.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Follow all company health & safety procedures and site requirements.
- Travel to residential sites as required.

Requirements
- Previous experience installing residential/domestic sprinkler systems.
- Good understanding of BS 9251 requirements.
- Ability to read and understand sprinkler drawings.
- Competent with hand and power tools.
- Good understanding of pipework installation and fittings.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Reliable, punctual and professional approach.
- Good attention to detail.

Desirable
- Relevant sprinkler installation qualifications or training.
- Experience with residential sprinkler systems under BS 9251.
- Experience working on new-build housing projects.
- Knowledge of domestic water supplies, pumps and tanks.
- CSCS or relevant site qualifications.
- Experience carrying out testing and commissioning of sprinkler systems.

Pay: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
