About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of Supplier Quality at McLaren Automotive. As the SQD Process & Governance Senior Engineer, you'll play a key role in transforming how the SQD function operates, creating consistent ways of working, improving governance and driving digital innovation across the business.

Working closely with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality teams, you'll influence how supplier quality is managed across both current vehicle programmes and future launches. You'll be at the centre of strategic initiatives that improve efficiency, accountability and supplier performance while helping the organisation embrace new technologies and smarter ways of working.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the transformation and standardisation of SQD processes, creating a clear, scalable framework that supports the future needs of the business.
  • Develop and embed governance structures that drive accountability, visibility and performance across supplier quality activities.
  • Champion digital transformation initiatives, identifying opportunities to leverage automation, AI and new technologies to improve efficiency.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities, manage risks and ensure successful delivery across series production and new model programmes.
  • Act as the trusted point of contact for SQD governance, providing clear reporting, escalation management and progress tracking to senior stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
