SQEP & EHSSQ Induction Coordinator
The Programme and Project Partners (PPP) model was mobilised in 2019 with the purpose of transforming major project delivery at the Sellafield nuclear site. The partnership is delivering a 20-year pipeline of major infrastructure projects to support the decommissioning of Sellafield and to create a clean and safe environment for future generations. In delivering its pipeline of large-scale infrastructure projects, PPP is creating opportunities for its people, supply chain, economy, and communities. Job Description - SQEP & EHSSQ Induction Coordinator
Job Title: SQEP and EHSSQ Induction Coordinator
Reports to: SQEP and EHSSQ Induction Lead
Location: Cumbria
The Role
The SQEP and EHSSQ Induction coordinator supports Lot 1 and programme SQEP (Suitably Qualified and Experienced Personnel), compliance, and coordinating the EHSSQ induction activities across PPP. The role focuses on:

- Supporting SQEP compliance and record keeping for Lot 1
- Managing external training for Lot 1 and programme contracted external training
- Supporting SQEP compliance across PPP programme, including assurance of sub-contractors’ SQEP status
- Working with teams to ensure training and inductions are delivered consistently
The role does not require a learning & development background, although beneficial. It suits someone with strong coordination ability and good teamwork skills.
Core Responsibilities and Duties
SQEP & Induction Support
- Support Lot 1 SQEP and training compliance.
- Help develop and facilitate the new PPP EHSSQ and Nuclear Safety induction.
- Maintain accurate training and competence data across the programme.
Training Coordination & Teamwork
- Work closely with the PPP training coordination team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Support scheduling, bookings, logistics, and training requests.
Governance, Assurance & Reporting
- Help ensure Lot 1 training data, reports, and dashboards are accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate internal checks, audits, and assurance activities related to SQEP and training.
- Assist with progress reporting and monitoring of training performance.

Systems & LMS Support (Rollout across PPP TBC)
- Support the rollout, adoption, and improvement of the PPP Learning Management System (LMS).
- Help develop and document LMS processes and workflows.
- Work with users across PPP to ensure the system is used consistently.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build good working relationships with partners, supply chain, training providers, and internal teams.
- Help communicate updates, requirements, and changes related to training and SQEP.
- Support smooth transition from previous SQEP/induction arrangements.

- Experience supporting improvements across teams or projects.
- Good coordination and organisational skills.
- Confident working with different stakeholders and teams.
- Ability to follow processes and support assurance activities.
- Experience helping to organise or facilitate training activities.
Desirable
- Experience working with training systems or LMS platforms.
